On Tuesday 4 March, Webb’s and Auckland Design Week presented Fashion, Design, and Architecture: Exploring Value and Craft at Webb’s, a thought-provoking event that brought together some of the country’s most influential voices in fashion and design.
Led by the renowned fashion designer Karen Walker, the panel featured esteemed designers Wynn Hamlyn, Rory William Docherty, and Bobby Campbell-Luke, alongside Webb’s own Christine Power.
Set against the backdrop of exquisite pieces from Webb’s Important Jewels, Watches & Luxury Accessories auction catalogue, the discussion explored the evolving concept of retained value in New Zealand’s fashion landscape. As brands increasingly champion the “buy local” movement, the conversation around the enduring worth of fashion, design, and craftsmanship has never been more relevant.
With a full house of fashion enthusiasts, designers, and industry insiders, this sell-out event underscored the growing interest in value-driven fashion and design.
