Recent Live Auction

Collectors’ Cars, Motorcycles & Automobilia
Sunday 6 April, 2.30pm

We are now accepting post-auction offers on a select number of cars from our April catalogue. Among the excellent examples still up for grabs is a beautiful and equally rare 1982 Maserati Merak—one of an increasingly limited bunch in existence. These V6 design icons seldom come to market, so an opportunity to make an offer on one is not to be missed.

If you’re looking for more 1980s cool in a well-sorted package, then look no further than the restored 1985 Mercedes-Benz 230TE Estate on offer. It too has a touch of rarity, being very hard to find in this condition on New Zealand roads, offering head-turning style, Mercedes grace and wagon practicality at what is still very good buying.

Continuing the theme of restored examples Webb’s also offers one last chance on a desirable ‘Oval Window’ Volkswagen Beetle. Of 1955 vintage and finished by a reputable marque expert, we are reliably informed that this completed project will not be returning to market anytime soon.

Finally, a British neo-classic also remains available for offer in the form of a 1992 Jaguar XJS—a car with sizeable potential and desirably offered in British Racing Green.

If you are interested in making an offer on these exceptional vehicles, or any other still available lot please get in touch with our team.

Upcoming Live Auction

Collectors’ Cars, Motorcycles & Automobilia
Sunday 13 July, 2.30pm

Webb’s Collectors’ Cars, Motorcycles & Automobilia department is currently accepting a select number of high-end consignments for its upcoming live auction.

Webb's has been experiencing exceptional car sale returns, often well above estimates, proving that despite market trepidation, the luxury and classic vehicle sector remains buoyant.

We are particularly interested in cars produced in limited numbers, of performance specification and design significance. Cars with low-mileage, in original condition and of New Zealand-new origin are also particularly favoured in the market.

Please feel free to contact our team of specialists to discuss your auction needs or to obtain a complimentary appraisal.
